Home based Supervising Social Worker - Greater Manchester

Salary up to £41,052 + £2,000 car allowance

NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable Independent Fostering Agencies in the North West of England area, in order to support them find a Supervising Social Worker who can join them on a permanent basis.

The role is home based, allowing you to have a very good work - life balance.

Responsibilities:

The Supervising Social Worker will oversee a small caseload of 10 - 12 foster families located around the Greater Manchester area.

In this role, you will only be providing support and supervision of the foster families. You will not be required to complete Form F Assessments on top, as they use Independent Social Workers for that.

The Supervising Social Worker will join an Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating. They are therapeutic and they use a Team Parenting Approach. You will work closely with therapists, education leads and other Social Workers and the child's birth parents may also be involved.

You will receive ongoing therapeutic training, so you can develop your skills and progress your career with them.

The team is very stable and the manager is very supportive and friendly, so you will be part of a very nice working environment.

They offer a very good annual leave - 30 days (that can increase to 35 days per year) + bank holidays, allowing you to have a good work - life balance.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or in a Looked After Children Team. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
