My client are a leading provider of telecoms and IT managed services. Currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients, fostering relationships, and driving growth through cross-selling and referrals. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for telecoms and IT, excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales, and a motivated individual who has the passion to develop new business. The role will be based in Manchester with the flexibility for hybrid work!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with an existing customer base.
  • Discover growth opportunities within current accounts through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
  • Pursue and capitalize on referral opportunities to broaden the customer base.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and solutions to clients.
  • Track and report on account performance, focusing on client satisfaction and retention.
  • Keep informed about industry trends and product knowledge to offer expert advice to clients.
  • Create and present presentations, proposals, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Meet and surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Verified experience in account management, ideally within the telecoms or IT industry.
  • Solid understanding of telecoms and IT managed services.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple clients and projects concurrently.
  • Skilled in using CRM software and various sales tools.
  • Highly driven, goal-focused, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
