AS a Cyber Security Consultant you will collaborate with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment with our standards and policies. The successful candidate will oversee large-scale security projects and develop strategies to enhance our security defences.

In this role, you will manage extensive security projects, conduct thorough assessments of systems, networks, and applications, and identify and address vulnerabilities and threats. You will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, provide expert guidance on best practices for securing systems and data, and assist in implementing security controls and solutions. Staying updated on the latest cyber security threats and technologies is essential. You will also need to effectively communicate technical information and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues identified through penetration testing and support the Cyber Security and GRC teams with relevant issues and policy updates.

Ideally we are looking for a candidate with at least five years of experience in cyber security, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to coach and mentor team members. Experience with NIST CSF, CIS v8.0, and CE+ standards is essential. 

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £60k + bonus and other benefits.
