HRGO are recruiting a Chemical Process Operator for our client, a renowned manufacturer, in the Sandycroft area. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating and monitoring chemical production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Job Title: Chemical Process Operator
Salary: £15.38 per hour, paid weekly (£30k equivalent)
Location: Sandycroft
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating weekly
Responsibilities
- Control and operate batch mixing / blending area
- Transporting materials using Counterbalance FLT
- Lifting up to 25kg
- Uphold a safe operational environment in line with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of production to ensure compliance and quality within specified parameters
- Organise and monitor the safe manufacture of bulk liquids
- Carry out lab testing
- Data entry into computer system
- Control and log stock of raw materials, intermediates, finished products and waste
Requirements
- Previous experience in a chemical plant/process experience (blending/mixing)
- Experience working to Quality and H&S management system experience
- In-date Counterbalance FLT License
- Knowledge of ISO9001
- COSHH & MSDS awareness training
