We are working closely with a company in Stafford who have a vacancy for a People Business Partner to join their existing People team, where you will provide support to stakeholders across various areas of the business. You will be ensuring the strategy and the operational aspects of the business are met and supporting with change management. You will be required to travel to sites across Staffordshire and Shropshire, so you must have access to your own transport.

Job Description for the People Business Partner:

This role will report into the People Manager and the duties will include:
  • To support the People Advisors with complex employee relations cases and escalations to assess risk and provide solutions
  • To mentor, coach and provide leadership to the People Advisors with various aspects of their role
  • Coordinate all HR Business Partnering activities across designated areas of the businesses whilst managing the stakeholders
  • Support managers with workforce planning activities
  • Working closely with Learning & Development regarding talent & development initiatives and to ensure succession planning
  • Proactively support performance management to enable the continuous improvement of people and organisational development
  • Delivering training sessions to senior management and attend operational meetings, providing people related insights through analytics
  • Manage TUPE in and out of the business, carrying out risk assessments where required
  • To keep up to date with legislation changes to implement changes to any policies
Requirements for the People Business Partner:
  • Must be an experienced HR / People Business Partner
  • CIPD level 7 qualification or equivalent experience is essential
  • Proven HR Generalist with experience of ER casework
  • Experience with change management, restructures and policy changes
  • Must be confident to regularly hold meetings / present to senior management
  • Prioritising skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be willing to complete a DBS
  • Driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel across sites
