Job Summary:

Our client based in Whetstone is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our their team. The Office Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting various departments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and vendors.

This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency of our business operations and requires someone who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 08.00 - 16.00

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.

Customer Service:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, directing them to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Process orders, invoices, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with food service or wholesale industry practices is a plus.
