Salary is dependent on experience

My client is keen to recruit an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their busy team in Calne. You must have previous experience in medium to heavy engineering to be able to fulfil the role in a business that produces very diverse components.

The hours you will be required to work are 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm on Friday.  There are no weekend hours as standard but my client does envisage that some overtime may be available.

The suitable candidate must be able to show that they can weld to a high standard

Skills:

• Ideally both MIG and TIG experience
• Be able to read engineering drawings.
• Have proven experience in putting together steel structures with little supervision.
• Have 3ml to 20ml welding experience.
• Be able to work accurately to specified dimensions.
• Tack weld the steel assy.
• Be able to complete full weld if required.
• Work efficiently under pressure and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• The personal attributes and experience to hit the ground running……

Other Requirements:

• This role will involve working on some heavy materials and so the successful candidate will need to be in good health and physically fit.
