Join a team as a Registered Manager and take charge of a high-quality, Ofsted-registered residential home dedicated to supporting vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties (SEMH). This role is ideal for a dynamic leader passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and deploy staff effectively to maintain a supportive environment for young people.
- Service Quality: Ensure the home meets all regulatory standards and consistently delivers outstanding care, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for residents.
- Strategic Management: Work closely with senior management to plan for the home’s future, ensuring continuous improvement and strong financial performance.
- Compliance: Maintain robust systems for reporting and recording to meet Ofsted and internal standards.
- Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to enhance the home’s reputation and ensure ongoing placements.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a residential care setting, with 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Qualifications: A relevant professional qualification at level 4 (or higher) and management qualification in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Level 5 or equivalent).
- Skills: Strong business, management, and financial acumen, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Personal Qualities: A confident, positive role model with excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards of care.
