We are looking for a Machine Operative for our client in the Audenshaw area, working on a day shift Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am to 1:00pm however overtime may be required on the Friday so you will need to be flexible.
This role will be on a temporary to permanent basis and to start as soon as possible.
Payrate
£13.00 to £14.00 per hour
This position is well-suited for Machine Operators with prior experience in a metal production setting, particularly those skilled in operating Press Brakes or Roll Forming Machines.
Duties will include:
- You will be operating various machinery (training will be provided)
- Measuring and verifying the length and thickness of materials
- Understanding engineering drawings involves comprehending various elements such as radius, dimensions, angles, and other technical details.
- Assist in securing items for delivery.
- Working as part of a team is essential.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ensuring that products are manufactured according to customer specifications.
- Keeping a clean and tidy workstation
Desirable
- Using Overhead crane with pendant control to move items around the warehouse
- FLT Counterbalance preferable.
