My client is offering a contract opportunity for Electrical Fitter (Electrical Supplies) to join their team based at their Devonport site.

Role: Electrical Fitter (Electrical Supplies)
Hourly Rate: £18.70 p/h via PAYE, £23.73 p/h via Umbrella.
Location: Devonport
IR35 Status: Inside
Contract: 6-months
Security clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities:

  • Expected to install, maintain and test electrical installations, domestic, commercial and industrial.
  • Carry out responsive and preventative maintenance.
  • Carry out EICR's and all associated remedial works.
  • Carry out fault finding.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment.


Qualifications required:

  • Experience working on and testing switchboards and power pillars.
  • Knowledge of 3 phase systems is desirable.
  • Testing and inspection qualifications are desirable.
  • Applicant must hold a minimum of City and Guilds Level 3 and 18th Edition BS7671
