We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in the healthcare sector. The HR Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations, providing support in employee management, recruitment, and compliance. This position requires someone with a strong understanding of HR practices, specific knowledge of the healthcare industry, and the ability to manage sensitive employee data with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Records Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including licensure and certifications required in healthcare.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations when handling sensitive employee data.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Support onboarding processes, including conducting background checks, verifying credentials, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Organize orientation sessions for new hires, focusing on healthcare compliance and policies.

HR Operations:

Provide administrative support in the implementation of HR policies and procedures specific to healthcare.

Track employee attendance, leaves, and manage healthcare-specific performance metrics.

Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and ensure compliance with healthcare labor regulations.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and employee relations, with a focus on the needs of healthcare workers.

Assist in organizing employee wellness programs and engagement activities designed for healthcare staff.

Help resolve employee concerns, escalating healthcare-related issues to HR management when necessary.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and healthcare-specific regulations.

Assist with audits, including credentialing and licensure verifications, and ensure healthcare staff comply with regulatory requirements.

Support health and safety initiatives, such as occupational health programs, to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

2-3 years of HR experience in a healthcare environment (hospital, clinic, nursing home, or similar).

Strong understanding of HR principles and healthcare compliance, including knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations.

Experience with computer knowledge is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to healthcare environments.

Ability to handle confidential healthcare employee information with the highest level of discretion.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with healthcare-specific software.

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
