This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering utility contractor as a Contracts Manager on a full-time and permanent basis, involving both office and site work.

A solid work history in the industry and experience in senior management are crucial. Candidates should be outstanding communicators, confident in presenting to diverse audiences, and possess strong negotiation skills for engaging with clients.

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Successful management and complete ownership of the delivery of all projects and contracts 

• Ensuring that all works are delivered within schedule and budget

• Securing repeat business

• Identify project risks and opportunities, such as additional work or projects, is key to driving business development and demonstrating work-winning capabilities

• Manage multiple contracts efficiently and safely, adhering to the programme and ensuring compliance with company policies, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management systems, and legislation

• Oversee project programmes, including tender programmes for bids

• Possess strong commercial acumen to meet or exceed the tendered margin

• Ensure all operational staff possess the necessary competencies and certifications

• Monitor performance to meet objectives and proactively address and resolve issues

• Promote innovation and cost-effective methods

• Cultivate and enhance client relationships

• Lead and grow the internal team of Engineers

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience within a similar role

• Civil Engineering qualifications

• NEBOSH

• SMSTS or IOSH

• First Aid at Work

• IT Skills - Microsoft Office

• CSCS

• EUSR Blue Water Card

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Basic salary from £75,000 - £85,000 depending upon experience

• Car allowance
