Position: Secondary Supply Teachers
Location: Salisbury and Surrounding Areas
Pay: £110 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:15 - 15:30

About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to support various Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges in and around Salisbury. Starting from September 2024, this role involves covering classes in the absence of regular teachers, with all lesson plans prepared in advance. Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and flexibility in teaching a range of subjects are essential. We offer consistent work opportunities across a variety of schools in the area, along with a guaranteed pay scheme to ensure financial stability.

Locations:
We are looking for supply teachers based in Salisbury and surrounding areas, including Amesbury, Wilton, Fordingbridge, and Downton.

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Be outstanding classroom professionals with a strong understanding of the Secondary curriculum.
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Possess experience working with high levels of Army children, given the local area’s demographics.
• Be confident in covering a variety of subjects, with a subject specialism as an added advantage.
• Demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Be prepared to support more challenging schools where classroom behaviour may require strong management.
• Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
