The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall educational experience of our students.

Job Summary for Science Teacher:

As a Science Teacher, the ideal candidate will have a strong passion for science and a commitment to teaching. He/she will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting student development. Your role will include creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Job Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons according to the curriculum.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support and guide students in their academic and personal development.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.

Qualifications as a Science Teacher:

  • Must be Experienced with QTS, QLTS or PGCE.
  • A degree in a relevant science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and educational standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Must have DBS (updated service) for the safeguard issue of the learners.
