Working for a leading Highways Contractor, dedicated to maintaining and improving the UK’s road network. As a Highways Operative, you’ll ensure the safety and efficiency of our highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform road maintenance tasks, including pothole repairs and resurfacing.
- Manage traffic control during roadworks.
- Conduct regular inspections and report hazards.
- Participate in winter services like gritting and snow clearance.
- Operate and maintain roadwork machinery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous highway maintenance experience preferred, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence required; HGV licence is a plus.
- CSCS card and NRSWA certification are advantageous.
