The Role

As they look to double in size again in the next five years across the group, the business needs to enhance its data infrastructure and related offerings. This role will ensure the right data warehouse system is built and integrated with all the relevant data sources, the data can be accessed via reports (Power BI), dashboards, external clients, APIs, etc., the system is maintained with minimal downtime and data accuracy is regularly monitored with the help of the team reporting into them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a data lake + data warehouse architecture that will best support the specific data needs of the business and implement it using the Microsoft Azure tech stack.
  • Build and manage a small team of integration and development specialists.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data integration process.
  • Enterprise application integration (EAI).
  • Designing and organizing data models within a data warehouse platform.
  • Database administration and software development experience.
  • Databricks experience, implementing a data lake or data lake house model.
  • Working with large and frequently changing data sets.
  • Reporting using Power BI and dashboarding.
  • Experience in modelling and integrating media performance data into a data warehouse would be beneficial.
