KS1 Teacher

We are recruiting for a KS1 Teacher for a Primary School in the Liverpool area to work on a long-term basis starting Sept 24- Dec 24!

This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. The school would like someone who has previous KS1 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills. With this year 1 Teacher role they are looking for someone who is also confident to deliver the Phonics scheme Essential Letters and Sounds.

Your role & responsibilities:

* Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
* Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
* Managing behaviour
* Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

* You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
* Hold QTS
* Knowledge of the national curriculum
* Be passionate and understanding
* Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
* Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
* Good communication skills
