A fantastic opportunity to join a Water sector specialist who is currently at ECI/Design stage on a £70 million new project near St Austell. My client, a national contractor with a company turnover of c£200 million, requires a Project Director to be responsible for the overall direct, coordination, implementation and execution of the project. Working in a regulated environment, my client can offer stability of work until 2030 at least.

As Project Director you will:

• Ensure that safety and delivery quality standards are promoted to direct and subcontract workforce
• Ensure that the Building Management System (BMS) is implemented throughout all stages of the project from ECI to handover
• Build and maintain close working relations with the end client
• Review and approve the Project Execution Plan (PEP), as well as monitor and control the delivery of the project
• Ensure that Construction Plans, and Method Statements are in place and approved prior to commencement of works
• Report all site non-conformities and costs identified

Our client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor with:

• Experience of managing high-value multi-disciplinary D&B construction projects, ideally within the Water sector
• Degree (or equivalent) qualified in Construction or Engineering related discipline
• PMQ (Project Management Qualification) or equivalent
• Experience of delivering projects to set targets and motivating multi-disciplinary teams
• Risk and opportunity management experience
• Experience of NEC and/or IChemE

Salary and benefits include:

• Salary – disclosed on application
• Annual bonus, up to 18% (project performance dependent)
• Company car or £6,600 car allowance.
