We are currently recruiting for a new and talented clinic specialising in the treatment of eating disorders. The Role:

We are looking for a caring and motivated Health Care Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work closely with nurses, therapists, and dieticians to provide essential support to patient throughout their treatment journey. Your work will make a real difference in helping individuals regain their health and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients in managing day-to-day activities, such as meal times, personal care, and therapeutic routines.
  • Provide Compassionate emotional support to patients, building trusting relationships in a non-judgemental manner.
  • Assist the clinical team in monitoring patient progress and reporting any concerns or changes in health.
  • Encourage and motivate patients to engage with their treatment plans, including attending group therapy and participating in activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment within the clinic.
  • Accurately record patient observations, and contribute to care planning.
  • Adhere to safeguarding protocols and promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all patients.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or support worker role (experience in mental health or eating disorders is desirable but not essential).
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient approach, with a genuine interest in supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A commitment to upholding the values of dignity, respect, an patient-centred care.
