Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit Out & Refurbishment
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a specialist fit out contractor based in Central Manchester. The requirement is for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has a strong knowledge of construction, fit out and refurb projects.
With the office being based in Manchester, the majority of projects tend to be closer to the North West and surrounding regions. This is a great company with a strong pipeline of work along with realistic growth plans in place. There will be plenty of opportunity to grow with the business.
Quantity Surveyor Salary
- Salary £35,000 - 50,000 (Dependant on experience)

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
- Ensuring project costings are met
- Ensuring compliance with the project requirements
- Agreeing variations
- Processes claims and payments
- Producing and managing costing reports
- Considering the Environmental Assessment Methods requirements when choosing suppliers and agreeing products/materials costs
- Review, prepare and issue Forecast Final Account (Cost Report)
- Prepare, submit final account on completion of works
- Working and reporting into the Senior QS
Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
- Over 3 years' working as a QS within the construction industry
- Proven experience of delivering refurbishment projects
- A-Level, HND, NVQ or Degree level qualified
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook
