Installation Technician & Product Trainer, Small Format Digital Print Finishing equipment

Leading UK manufacturer and supplier of small format digital print finishing systems and associated equipment, seeks an experienced Digital Print & Finishing professional, with strong technical knowledge & exceptional communication skills to take responsibility for delivering & installing their extensive portfolio of small format Digital Print Finishing equipment, along with the added responsibility for training their Clients staff in it’s effective operation.

With an enviable reputation for extremely high quality innovation, product design & specification, their inline & offline finishing products include booklet makers, feeders, creasers, guillotines, binders, folders and stacking solutions, plus mailing and sealer systems.

Day to day duties as the Installation Technician / Product Trainer include;

  • Delivery of the new / refurbished equipment to Client sites across the UK
  • Understanding the requirements prior to your visit, ensuring you have relevant equipment & knowledge to ensure effective site installation.
  • Fully understand Client expectations and ensure they are always carried out within the Company's guidelines, representing the Company in a professional manner.
  • Training the relevant Client Production staff onsite, in the effective, efficient & safe operation of the installed equipment.

With Clients spanning the UK, ideally you will reside within easy access of their Milton Keynes HQ, with the flexibility to deliver the role within the constraints & expectations of the Clients production demands.

You must have a comprehensive paper handling or digital print production experience, that’s combined with an engineering passion and importantly, the personality & professionalism to install, demonstrate & train manufacturing staff on special purpose print finishing machinery.

In a physically demanding role, you must be able to work on your own initiative, contribute & enhance the existing team, possess good communication skills and have a flexible attitude, with a demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

You will be trained comprehensively on the full range of equipment and supported by a strong management structure that nurtures and develops all staff, all within a fantastic working culture and a professional career environment.
