Salary up to £60,000

I am actively seeking an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Chelmsford. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in highway and drainage infrastructure design.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

• A relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• Associate memberships (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership or nearing Chartered status
• Effective leaderships skills
• Experience with design in multiple materials and analysis and design of varied building forms.

Duties and responsibilities for this Principal Civil Engineer include:

• The role would be to support a current Associate Engineer/Director.
• Demonstrating your experience and providing technical guidance
• Managing small- larger scaled projects
• Manage and develop technical capability through CPD, by arranging and attending internal and external training seminars frequently
