Contract Type: Full time, Permanent, Term Time only plus 5 days.

Start Date: 1st September 2024 / ASAP

Moxi Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a secondary high school based in Bury.

The Role:

As the Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Headteacher with a range of administrative and organisational tasks. You will act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, manage the Headteacher's schedule, and assist with various projects. Your ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Organise and manage the Headteacher's diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Correspondence: Handle all incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the Headteacher, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points for meetings.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between the Headteacher, staff, parents, governors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Support the Headteacher in the planning and execution of school projects and initiatives.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

About You:

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual with:

  • Previous experience in a similar PA or administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of professionalism and the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
