We are currently looking for some short term contract support within our steel and aluminium welding areas of our Wisbech site. The length of contract will be a minimum of one month, with the likelihood of it extending to cover holiday and stretched departmental capacity being highly likely (but not guaranteed).

What is the role?

The main duties and responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator is to ensure the accurate fabrication of raw materials into appropriate end product to the customer specifications whilst following company quality control procedures. This is delivered through the Welder/Fabricators ability to accurately interpret complex CAD drawings into relevant end products. You will also ensure that all work is to the relevant Type Approval standards, and that these are upheld at all times.

Hours of work are 40 hours a week, with some overtime available (all contractors are paid at base rate for any extra hours outside of core hours). Shift can be flexible, but likely to be 4 x 10 hour days (Monday to Thursday) or 5 days a week (early finish Friday)

Salary is dependant on skill level and experience.
