A fantastic opportunity to secure 12 months Fixed Term Contract as a Project Manager with Smart DCC in our fantastic Technical Management Engineering team in DCC and make a real difference by bringing your key stakeholder management experience to help deliver the next generation Smart Meter and IoT Ecosystem. The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful support and completion of technical projects and the support of technical forums within the Engineering function. The Project Manager responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks and activities to ensure that engineering projects and various technical forums are effectively managed and delivered on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.

What will you be doing?

•           Forum planning and scope definition for our internal processes:

•           Design Change Assurance Forum and Round Table

•           Matrix team coordination and management

•           Risk Management

•           Communication and stakeholder Management

•           Change Management

•           Documentation and report generation

•           Continuous process improvement

What are we looking for?

•           Experience in working and being a technical project lead in a fast paced, matrix and agile environment with a focus on quality.

•           Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to help solve problems and issues.

•           Demonstrable experience in managing project/forum technical lead or consulting roles.

•           Support technical delivery of quality and governance in multi-disciplinary teams and matrix environments.

•           Excellent stakeholder management, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholder groups, including non-technical audiences.

•           Able to see and articulate the bigger picture, but also capable understanding the underlaying technology principles.

•           Understanding of key business risks both technical and non-technical
