As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with hiring managers, the sourcing, screening, and interviewing of candidates for roles across all functions and teams of BJF Group. You will actively and efficiently support the Operational/regional leads and the People team by sourcing the required talent to ensure an exemplary candidate experience, that contributes to employee success and retention.


The ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders and hiring managers to ensure the recruitment, selection and offer process remains consistent and professional throughout, with our TEAMS values always in mind.



Position
  • Working closely with Hiring Managers to design a resource plan for their live roles.
  • Design and Implement Campaign Recruitment plans for all vacancies.
  • Point of contact for all Recruitment Tasks.
  • Benchmark salaries and ensure fairness and consistency is applied to candidates in this regard based on active qualifications, career level, certificates and competencies.
  • Ensure advertisements are accurate, attractive and generate suitable candidates.
  • Provide an insight and focus on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion strategies in recruitment.
  • Ensure candidates are efficiently managed currently and through the ongoing development and use of our ATS and HR system Cezanne.
  • Conduct vacancy briefings with line managers to understand the role profile.
  • Take part in regular update meetings with Team Leaders, Department Manager/Heads and Divisional Directors.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the level of competencies required for each role is explored within the interview through competency-based questions.
  • Undertake pre and post interview discussions with managers and manage the feedback process, supported by the Talent Acquisition & People Partner.
  • Coordinate interviews, acting as the main point of contact between the candidates and hiring manager.
  • Coordinating feedback from line manager to the candidate, controlling any offer and start date.
  • Ensure certificates are checked via the correct lines of approval before formal offers are issued.
  • Share any consistent themes with Director of People & Talent in order to identify ways of improving the candidate experience.
  • Proactively build talent pools for the future with the support of the Talent Acquisition & People Partner.
  • Assist in Social Media Strategy for Internal Recruitment including external job boards and careers page(s)
  • Ensure that the correct offer information is passed to the Talent Acquisition & people Partner for accurate processing through the ATS/HR system to receive correct documentation and onboarding.
  • Use the system to manage and track any referrals through the Refer, Recruit, Reward Scheme ensuring correct information is provide
  • Support Associate Director of People & Talent with the Recruitment Strategy and ongoing projects where required.

Requirements
  • Be able to adapt interview style to level of role and the line managers' requirements.
  • Have the ability to quickly build rapport with line managers to provide appropriate levels of support during the interview process.
  • Be able to effectively support and coach inexperienced managers through the interview process.
  • Have the ability to perform under pressure and to high pressure timescales
  • Work in a way to demonstrate our core values and culture alignment
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask, be proactive and creative in approach
  • Be organised and efficient at maintaining records on People systems to reflect interview feedback and status.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of recruiting for the Construction and/or FM Industry
  • Specialising in both operational and strategic talent acquisition activities for Engineering/Trade vacancies
  • Hard working, loyal, enthusiastic professionals with fantastic customer service experience
  • Team player with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Driven to do a great job
  • Has to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to business changes and keep on top of tasks
  • Able to communicate clearly and consistently with necessary departments
  • Must be highly organised and used to high volume vacancies
  • ATS system experience
  • Driven, self-starter individual
  • Independent on tasks and able to use initiative
  • Experience of attending and participating in careers fairs
