  • Training given but you must have some HVAC sizing, designing, specifying, quoting, calculating (pressure drops, heat loss, load) or pricing experience from either a hands-on HVAC site background with NVQ AC qualifications or mechanical engineering degree qualified background.

The Role

A leading Cooling and Heating Central Plant Manufacturer seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join there select team of mechanical engineers. You will have the opportunity of designing cooling and heating systems for the largest and most prestigious new build and refurbishment commercial and multi-residential projects. Furthermore, when not working from home you will be working in a vibrant fast paced open plan office environment, alongside other design engineers co-operating together in teams.

Experience Required

Ideally you will already be a mechanical engineer or design engineer within the Building Services industry with a knowledge of Building Services and in particular HVAC. It will be an advantage if you have an MEng or BEng in mechanical engineering but if come from more of a hands-on HVAC engineering background and have an HND, HNC, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualifications then please still apply. As this is a team environment, excellent spoken and written communication skills are required.

The Package

Initial indications by the client are a base salary of range of between £32,000 and £42,000. There is also a circa £4k yearly bonus (paid quarterly and kpi’s), health care / dental insurance, high contribution pension scheme and sports / social club scheme.
