Mechanical Fitter

A Mechanical Fitter is required to work for a leading facilities management provider for a blue chip client in Cumbria. The postholder will operate, maintain and install (with minimum supervision) new and existing building services to the satisfaction of the client and ensure all operate efficiently.
Person Specification:
A good general knowledge of nuclear site non core operational practices would be advantageous coupled with a sound understanding of health & safety good practices.
Should have a high standard of workmanship within their technical field of expertise. Must have ability to liaise with client representatives at on operational and H&S levels.
Experience of working with subcontractors across all workstreams.
Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting (minimum of NVQ L3).
Full clean driving license. IOSH Working Safely certificate (desirable).
This is a mobile position across a large nuclear site, demanding a vary of physical activities to delivery the required service to the client. You must have a flexible approach to working hours (including overtime) & will also be required to work certain weekends.
