The company
A leading multi-disciplinary engineering group with an annual turnover of over £100 million, who offer specialised electrical solutions to many big-name clients across the UK. After securing several long-term contracts with key customers, the company is seeking an Electrician to join their team based in Birmingham.

The role
The company is looking for an Electrician to install and maintain electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduit and electrical panels, in industrial settings. This role has a 40 hour week with the opportunity for overtime.

You will take responsibility for:

• Install and maintain electrical systems and components in industrial settings, including wiring, conduits, and electrical panels.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment using testing devices and tools.
• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation and repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company policies, promoting a safe working environment and identifying potential hazards.

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Proven experience as an electrician
• Level 3 Electrical qualification or a completed Apprenticeship program in Electrical industry
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good understanding of electrical systems, components and safety standards
• Full UK Driving License

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience working within a Manufacturing and/or Industrial environment
