IT Teacher
Location: Medway
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated IT Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Gillingham for a long-term role starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and fostering a love for technology in students.

As an IT Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering a curriculum that not only focuses on technical skills but also supports students’ overall development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
• Support students in developing strong digital literacy and technical skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to guide their learning journey.
• Work closely with the school’s pastoral team to support students’ well-being.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular programme, including technology clubs and competitions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching IT at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
