Quality Inspector

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer looking for a 3-6 month contract based in Burton on Trent? We are looking for someone with experience as a Quality Inspector in fabrication and welding processes and the ability to assemble dossier packs for a well-known manufacturing business. Working Monday to Friday, offering an hourly rate of £30-35 per hour - outside IR35

The position:
Reporting to the Quality Lead
Working closely with production, engineering and operations teams
Assembling dossier packs
Inspection of fabricated and welded parts
Reading technical drawings
PPAP, FAIR's
Experience required:
Quality related qualification
Experience as a Quality Inspector within a fabrication and welding manufacturing business
Experience in FAIR's, PPAP's and reporting methods
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to understand weld symbols, welding documentation and the process is a must
Great attention to details
High level of competency with Microsoft office and software systems
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Strong communicator
