Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Salary: £40-£50k, Bonus and other benefits
Location: Commutable to Dewsbury (Yorkshire) Office based role (some flexibility of hybrid working)

Looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
  • Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with and identify new vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements throughout the supply chain.
  • Resolve issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays or quality concerns.
  • Implement and manage relevant software systems.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role (preferably in manufacturing/engineering)
  • MCIPS Qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of developing Supply Chain management on a global scale
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Cost reduction
  • On-time delivery rates
  • Supplier performance metrics
  • Customer satisfaction levels
