Design and Technology Teacher

Location: Medway
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term role at a well-regarded secondary school in Medway, starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design and Technology Teacher who is dedicated to fostering creativity and practical skills in students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that inspire innovation.
• Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills in Design and Technology.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the Design and Technology curriculum and collaborate with colleagues.
• Encourage students to explore and apply their creativity through various projects.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, ECT, B.Ed. or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical and creative education.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
