Blakewater Recruitment are working with a Wigan Based Company recognised as one of the leading manufacturers in the UK of robust security doors and are now looking to add to the team.
Time Served Sheet Metal Worker /Development ( Jet cam experienced)
This role would ideally suit a candidate that has all the experience but wants to come off the tools to move into a development role, using Jetcam software to produce sheet metal parts.
- Candidate will need at least 20 Years’ experience as a time served sheet-metal worker.
- CNC Punch experience required but not necessary as full training will be provided.
- Basic IT understanding.
- Understand the principles of sheet metal work.
- Have relevant sheet metal experience.
- Work from shop drawings.
- Ability to learn new skills.
- Take personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Be able to take instruction and guidance from the Production Manager and have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality / standard.
- Meet the required productivity levels.
- Maintain a working environment that is clean, safe, and tidy.
- Complete training as required by the business including certified training.
- Carry out other tasks and duties as reasonably required.
Monday to Thursday ( 37 hours per week)
