About Us:
Concept Project Services team is expanding and looking for experienced Contract AV Engineers across the UK. Our engineers work across various industries and with a diverse range of clients within the AV sector.

Position Overview:
Engineers will be involved in deployments/projects, breakfix and BAU support covering a variety of AV systems and technologies.

Typical Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot systems.
  • Handle incidents and customer-initiated tickets.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of tickets in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist in the deployment and support of AV products.
  • Install and maintain AV systems and related applications.
  • Conduct site surveys, audits, and perform system backups.
  • Provide telephone support and remote diagnostics.
  • Resolve technical escalations from the Service Desk.
  • Update documentation and support tickets.


Rate Information:

  • Competitive Rates: Negotiable based on experience (inside IR35).


Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proficiency with installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of EUC, EPOS, server, and networking devices.
  • A good understanding of audio and video signal flow, routing, and processing in both the analogue and digital domains.
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP networks used in the AV industry.
  • Experience using control protocols including RS232/485, IR, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience implementing modern ethernet-based audio-visual distribution methods (Dante, AVoIP).
  • Experience with commercial TV distribution systems (traditional IRS and IPTV).
  • Ability to confidently terminate, test, and troubleshoot connectors (VGA, BNC, F-type, RCA, XLR, 3.5/6.3mm Jack, RJ45).
  • Ability to select appropriate cable types for various applications.
  • Ability to interpret and work from plan drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in the layout and building of equipment racks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant AC Engineering certifications.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
