We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Children in Need Team within Islington. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker includes:

• Experience of assessment, CIN, CP and court work
• Undertaking initial and core assessments
• Carrying a caseload of children in need, and child protection cases and implementing multi agency plans to address needs and risk and take the lead professional role where appropriate
• Building effective and creative relationships with key professionals in other agencies.

To ideal candidate will have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
