As the Project Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial information & accurate advice to the business unit & project managers, enabling the business to keep control of value for money, cashflow & Profits.

You will be analysing accounts within a tight monthly deadline whilst maintaining the data that supports the accounts information, completing full audit trails for internal & external use.

• Raising customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and management information requirements.
• Production of Cost Certificates / statements in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
• Production of monthly Project Status Packs for management reviews in conjunction with the respective Project Teams. These packs are also to be prepared on a quarterly basis for Senior Management review.

Essential Experience:

• Excellent experience of Excel
• Working with non-finance managers and complex data
• Contract accounting and / or IFS and / or Business Analytics experience is an advantage but, not essential.

Qualifications Needed:

You must hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent / similar.

35 hours a week with the ability to work 3 days in the office & 2 days at home.
