We are currently looking for a talented Commercial Analyst to join a large analytical function within a leading Environmental company. The Commercial Analyst will be surrounded by like minded people who are all trying to achieve similar goals. What you'll do


  • The Commercial Analyst will develop successful pricing strategies, efficient processes and bid solutions for new business tenders and contract renewal exercises.
  • Produce and present financial models to the appropriate delegation of authority level.
  • Drive sales strategy by analysing sales performance metrics/KPIs and improving win ratios, profitability, retention and growth of our commercial sales.
  • Support the senior sales leadership team through data-driven decisions to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Present and communicate complex financial models and data analysis up to Director level.
  • Support the commercial development of the business development and account management teams through regular engagement and refresher training sessions.
  • Promote the role of the Commercial Support Function to key stakeholders across the Commercial Business.



What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a data analyst modelling commercial opportunities.
  • Understanding of commercial modelling systems, data and processes.
  • Analytical nature, critical thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Degree level education in a relevant field (or relevant experience) - ideally mathematics or economics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good organisational, stakeholder and time management skills.
  • An understanding of the sales process and Salesforce/CRM systems would be advantageous.
