Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join one of our mainstream secondary schools in Tower Hamlets. The ideal candidate will support educators in providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for students.



Responsibilities



- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities - Support students with special educational needs, including SEN, EAL and behavioural needs - Help maintain a safe and tidy learning environment - Communicate effectively with both children and adults - Implement and review Individual Education Plans - Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress



Skills



    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.



    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.



    • Proficiency in the use of ICT in the classroom.



    • Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards students and their learning.







Qualifications



    • Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent



    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above



    • Further qualifications in education or child development (desirable)
