Duct Fitter

£45,000 + van, pension, 33 holidays (inc BHols)

Ideal location Coventry to Northampton to Leicester.

Mechanical Duct Fitter installing ducting and ductwork in industrial sites and sometimes scientific facilities up and down the UK.

·Duct Fitter upto £46,000 total earnings: £35,000 guaranteed basic plus approx’ £5,000 upwards overtime plus door to door paid travel time.  There is also a company bonus worth roughly £2,000-£3,000, and great pension.

·Overtime and Paid Travel time, plus basic pay and roughly £2,000-£3,000 bonus, and great pension.

·Paid travel time and overtime.  Accommodation and food-travel expenses.

·40hr week.  Monday to Friday usually.  Weekend work is rare.

·Company van, tools, workwear and PPE provided.

·On average, work away from home 50% of the time.

Job activities

·Duct Fitter installing ducting and ductwork in industrial sites and scientific laboratories.

·Mechanical Fitting, installing duct systems, ensuring they are securely mounted and properly aligned.

·The Duct Fitter insulates and seals duct joints to prevent leaks and ensure energy efficiency.

·The Duct Fitter will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawing plans to determine the ducting layout.

The company have seven Duct Fitter installation teams spread across the country, so you get first-dibs on the work local to your home town.  On average the job is 50% away from home, but no two weeks are the same.  The boss wants a happy team so tries to give people as much local work as possible, and if you flag up special dates in advance the boss will try to make sure you are closer to home for things like school plays or a family appointment.  The Duct Fitter team work 99% Monday to Friday. 

£40,000 to £46,000 total earnings

£35,000 guaranteed basic plus approx’ £5,000 overtime plus door to door paid travel time, and also a company bonus worth roughly £2,000-£3,000, and great pension (8%). 

25days bookable holiday plus bank holidays.
