💰 £ 800 - £ 850 (inside IR35 via umbrella) Daily Rate 💰

Hybrid working 2 days in Hertfordshire and 3 days remote working

🌐 Are you an experienced Azure Architect looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a leading organisation in the technology sector, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. With a focus on augmenting the Security Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in scaling our client's security presence across their wider technology and infrastructure teams.

✅ Responsibilities:

Conduct architecture reviews, infrastructure and network security risk assessments for various projects.
Interact with Azure Administration, development teams, security partners, and product managers during the review process.
Review, report, and provide guidance on configuration and the best security setup for each application deployment.
Collaborate with the Development team to resolve gaps identified in their cloud infrastructure and workloads.
Deploy security features for Azure applications, including infrastructure, integration, and solutions.
Possess core knowledge in API management, encryption, O365, Azure Active Directory, AKS management, Azure Storage, and Eventing.
Understand Azure's IaC infrastructure, monitoring infrastructure, and Microsoft Defender.
Apply a risk-based approach to security, considering the threat landscape and the organisation's risk appetite.
Review and configure Azure Hub and Spoke infra setup, Azure DevOps, Azure Firewall, and NSG's.
Drive adoption of Azure security standards and capabilities into the teams you work with.
Facilitate risk management and challenge decisions made in the process.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, facilitation, leadership, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

👩‍💻 Qualifications:

Extensive experience deploying security features for Azure applications.
Solid understanding of API management, encryption, O365, Azure Active Directory, AKS management, Azure Storage, and Eventing.
Deep knowledge of Azure's IaC infrastructure, monitoring infrastructure, and Microsoft Defender.
Familiarity with Azure Hub and Spoke infra setup, Azure DevOps, Azure Firewall, and NSG's.
Strong understanding of the threat landscape and risk appetite within the business.
