Creative Appeal Real Estate (CARE) Ltd is a key leader in the UK residential property sector. We pride ourselves on providing an award-winning service to both tenants and landlords. We are a private provider for social housing, and have housed over 5,000 tenants over the last few years. Our unique approach combines collaboration with both landlords and the council to create mutually beneficial arrangements that address the urgent housing needs of tenants. We now seek a Property Manager, based in the South East area, to join our growing team.

Role and Job Description

The role will include overseeing the management and maintenance of properties, and you would be responsible for ensuring that the properties meet safety and quality standards. You would also be handling tenant inquiries and issues, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and overseeing the overall operations of the properties to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for tenants. The role will cover both reactive and planned preventative work and involve working closely with all departments to ensure minimal disruption to tenants. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on exceptional people skills, and has the ability to communicate with individuals of all abilities and social situations.

Duties of the Role and Skills Required

• Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
• Experience with social housing (desirable)
• Experience with individuals suffering with substance abuse, mental health issues, homelessness (desirable)
• Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Travel to properties across the South East (company car provided)
• 3 days on sites, 2 days in the office based in Epsom, Surrey
• Understanding and implementing support plans to guide individuals
• Supporting the rest of the team
• Ability to work in an organised and timely manner 
• Ensuring safety standards of placements in properties
• Liaising with the team to solve problems efficiently
• Ability to work in a safe manner 
• Full-time: 5 days per week, plus one Saturday per month
• Salary: £23-28k, with the opportunity to earn commission on sourcing properties – depending on skills and experience

Schedule

This role involves travel across the South East regions, namely Chichester, Worthing, Havant, Portsmouth, Gosport, Eastly and Southampton. It would essentially cover a 50-60 mile radius of the South East, however there is a possibility that our London properties may require your attention on a needs basis.
