Setting Out Engineer

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Setting out Engineer required by a Mian Contractor to work on a new civils project in South Ayrshire, Scotland
Role:
- Setting out the site in accordance with site drawings and specifications.
- Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Accurately record site progress in the diary
- Provide technical and structural experience.
- Comply with strict safety regulations.
- Report to the Project Manager
Requirements:
- Relevant Third level Degree
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous Main Contractor experience in earthworks, drainage, foundations, structural steelwork and roadworks setting out tasks.
- CSCS Card
- Setting out experience is essential.
- IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft and BIM software, AutoCAD.
- Ability to work well within a team to collaborate with others
