L&D Administrator (12 Month FTC)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Support the Head of Talent with the maintenance of learning content in WeLearn

Assist with LMS upgrades and data purges

Liaise with training providers to schedule courses

Ensure we hold full training records for company personnel

Ensure all certificates are kept in date by ensuring refresher courses are booked far enough in advance.

Work with the Head of Talent to ensure all paid for training is within budget.

Raise the relevant paperwork through the Procurement Process to onboard new suppliers of training

MAIN ASSIGNMENTS:

Maintain and develop and work to continuously improve the content of the LMS system

Produce and provide reporting on training data

Minimise the number of cancellations and no shows through clear and robust communication and reporting

Support the Apprenticeship programme by working with providers and facilitating in house training

Maintain the training calendar in WeLearn

Set up agreed learning journeys and assign to the relevant groups

Support with the creation and roll out of career journeys

Act as an ambassador for WeLearn and encourage users to actively use it

Facilitate and be the point of contact for both Virtual and On-Site workshops 

Manage room bookings for training delivery

Liaise with internal departments to agree suitable dates for training

Analyse training feedback and work with the training manager to make changes to address any concerns.

Support the creation and delivery of the training strategy.

Keep accurate records of money spent against budget and look for ways to maximise the return through free content, subscriptions etc.

Manage employee enrolment for training, scheduling sessions, and organising resource to facilitate the training programme

Attend Milton Keynes site three days a week or as required

Attend Regional Meetings should the need arise

Maintain understanding of HSE requirements within our industry

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Training delivered on time and in budget

All training records kept in date

All necessary stakeholders informed and involved

Embed and enforce the company HSE culture

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Good level of written and spoken English

Previous experience of using a learning management system

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Eye for detail

Tenacious, get the job done attitude

Ability to communicate at all levels, by email, phone and face to face!

Be able to make decisions.

Ability to work to deadlines

Awareness of Health & Safety requirements within a training environment

Driving License
