Our client is a manufacturing business, based in Gateshead, who are looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor, to join the team on a permanent basis.

The role is responsible for:

• Responsible for the manufacturing departments including Press Shop and Assembly.
• Responsibilities the organisation of resource in meeting the daily build requirements along with maintaining the expected quality, safety, and housekeeping standards within the section.
• Monitoring employee productivity and providing feedback.
• Helping to resolve employee issues and disciplinaries
• Assisting with inductions and employee training
• Covering Team Leaders responsibilities covering holidays and absence

The successful candidate will require the following:

·Supervisory Experience essential

·Proven Record of leadership skills

·To be able to motivate and manage staff

·To be able to organise your own time, your team, and your workload.

·To be able to work to deadlines and work well under pressure and be able to use your own initiative.

·Excellent Verbal and communication skills

The hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm

Friday 7.30am-12.30pm

The wage is up to £32,500 depending on experience
