Job Title - Night Warehouse Supervisor
Site location - Trafford Park
Responsible to - Warehouse Manager     
Client brief - Our client is a world renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions.
    
 
KEY INFORMATION
    
Contract - Full time temp to perm (12 weeks of hours completed, perm contract thereafter)
Salary - £34,912 per annum
Shifts - Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am
Holidays - Accrual whilst agency, 20 + Bank Holidays when permanent
Facilities - Excellent facilities on site inclusive of free parking, canteen areas and all other general facilities.
    
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
    
The role - Our client is looking for an experienced Night Warehouse Supervisor to join their established team in their longstanding ambient facility in Trafford Park. As a Warehouse Supervisor the responsibilities of this position are varied and not limited to -

• Managing the daily warehouse output of customer shipments
• Completing all computer duties on internals WMS and back up systems
• Ensuring own activities are aligned to business objectives
• Ensuring all operative picks are completed to the planning sheet
• Ensuring all direct reports are fully trained to all aspects of their role
• Setting standards within the warehouse through time keeping, tidiness and work ethic
• Ensuring shop floor staff are keeping to all assigned duties (using of scanners and internal computer systems for picking, shipping, stock checking, put-away’s, stock relocating and stock checks).
• Perpetual stock checks and annual stock checks, keeping stock discrepancies to a minimum
• Use of CB FLT trucks where required

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED 

• Previous experience in a fast-paced Warehouse / Stores environment as Supervisor or above
• Valid and in date Forklift Truck Licence - Counter Balance
• IT literate with a working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Sound understanding of safety procedures and practises
