Key responsibilities of a Learning mentor - Tower Hamlets

As a Learning Mentor, your primary role will be to provide individualised support to students, promoting their emotional well-being and aiding their academic growth.

• Mentor students in their behavioural development
• Assistant SEN students within the classroom and outside in small groups
• Support students who are academically behind
• Support in building students self-esteem and personal development
• Acting as a positive role model
• Proactive approach
• Work closely with teacher and other staff members
• Lead or support in interventions based around students needs and development
