Are you irritated with the lack of regular and consistent supply work that impacts your weekly income?

Are you qualified teacher looking for stress-free and flexible schedule to explore other life pursuits?

Teaching is becoming a challenging and stressful profession where there's an increase each year in teachers leaving the sector. Why? There are continuous stressors to impress inspectors, meet exam success grades, manage pupil behaviour and prepare effective lessons.

With general supply, you have the freedom to work when and where you want. General supply teaching appeals to a range of teachers. PGCE graduates love being a general supply teacher because they can chip away at their induction year without planning and marking. Plus, after an intense PGCE year, it is a good way to unwind for a long career in teaching. Alternatively, experience teachers want to explore other avenues, but they are not sure which career path to pursue. Therefore, being a general supply teacher allows enables a steady income which gaining other qualifications and experiences.

"Academics allows flexibility in work days and they always have work for you. I've previously signed up with other companies, but Academics have been the best out of them."

I've been with Academics since November 23 after changing from another agency that was very sporadic in bookings in terms of consistency and travelling over 1hr30 very frequently. This is not the case with Academics at all. They are timely to answer emails and have no problems answering their phones either, as well as doing routine check ins with you. I'm very happy I made the switch to academics, I only wish I did it sooner!"
