About the role:

As an SEN-TA specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of the children you support. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to create a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging for your students. Your day-to-day duties will involve assisting in the delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing sensory and communication strategies, and helping students develop social skills and independence.

This role will allow you to make a tangible difference in the lives of children with ASD, helping them to build confidence, achieve their goals, and thrive within the school community.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting.

• Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and strategies for supporting children with ASD.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents.

• A passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with ASD in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Facilitating social interaction and communication for students with ASD.

• Supporting students in developing independence and life skills.

• Collaborating with the teaching staff to deliver tailored lessons and activities.
