Flourish Education are working in partnership with a Primary school in Harborne, that is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, who are seeking to employ a Primary Cover Supervisor from September.  

Our client is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience and the flexibility to support across the primary age range and who can supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the class teacher.  

This opportunity is a full-time, long-term role, starting in September and continuing until the end of the academic year.  

Responsibilities of this Primary Cover Supervisor Role: 

• Support students' learning across the primary age range, Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). 
• Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the class teacher. 
• Deliver pre-planned lessons provided by the class teacher if required.  
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment. 
• Assist with the assessment and monitoring of student progress. 
• Collaborate with other staff members effectively. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Experience working in a UK Primary School setting is essential. 
• Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Qualification as a Teaching Assistant. 
• Strong classroom management skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• £85.02 - £110.00 day rate which equates to £16,578.90 to £21,450 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
